After a six year drought of ESPN live shoots on the Boston College campus, ESPN's television show First Take will film in Gasson Hall Friday, Sept. 18, according to The Heights. The shoot has been planned in conjunction with the Florida State vs. Boston College football game scheduled for 8 p.m. later that night.
The show, starring ESPN reporters Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith, will film from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The show's filming on BC's campus marks the first live non-sporting-event shoot on the Boston College campus since College Gameday was filmed on the Dustbowl on Oct. 3, 2009, now occupied by the Stokes Lawn. On that show, coincidentally scheduled preceding a Florida State vs. Boston College football game, Mark Herzlich famously announced that he had been informed by doctors that he was cancer free.
The game against the Seminoles will mark the beginning of ACC play for the Boston College Eagles.
