What to watch when you're not watching Boston College vs. Clemson this weekend.
Things get underway tonight in an epic #goacc showdown between Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh at 7:30 p.m. Eastern on ESPN, followed by a cross-division Pac-12 game between no. 20 Utah and Oregon State at 10:00 p.m. on Fox Sports 2 / Pac-12 Network.
Friday is meh, but for those of you starved for college football action, you can catch Fresno State-Boise State at 8 p.m. on ESPN or Temple-Houston at 9 p.m. on ESPNU.
Nice little Saturday that includes FIVE (!) matchups between ranked teams. No. 14 Kansas State visits no. 11 Oklahoma start things off at noon on ESPN, followed by no. 21 Texas A&M at no. 7 Alabama (3:30 p.m., CBS) and no. 15 Oklahoma State at no. 12 TCU (4:00 p.m., Fox Sports 1). That all builds into the weekend's marquee matchup -- no. 5 Notre Dame at no. 2 Florida State at 8 p.m. on ABC. No. 23 Stanford at no. 17 Arizona State brings the day to a close (10:30 p.m., ESPN) in a rematch of last year's Pac-12 Championship Game won by the Cardinal.
I'll also be keeping an eye on the Syracuse-Wake Forest derp-fest (Noon, ESPN3) and N.C. State-Louisville (3:30 p.m., ESPN3) to catch a glimpse of two upcoming opponents.
Overall a very solid weekend of college football action. Which games are you most looking forward to taking in this weekend?
