BC Football Recruiting: 2017 OL Alec Lindstrom Commits To Eagles

If the last name sounds familiar it should.

Boston College held it's first summer football camp this past weekend, and it has already led to a commitment:

The 6'2 240lb Alec currently holds only one other FBS offer (UMass), and currently does not hold a ranking or rating from Rivals. Alec is the younger brother of current Boston College offensive lineman Chris Lindstrom, while his dad Chris Lindstrom Sr. played at BU and in the NFL, while his uncle Eric also played at BC. According to a report on ESPN, Alec, a two way player, was recruited to play center for BC.

ESPN also reports that according to Alec's offensive coordinator at Shepherd Hill's (MA), he chose BC because of his brother "Playing with his brother was very important to him, and the biggest reason for his decision." Even if he isn't highly recruited, this is the kind of legacy recruit BC needs to lock in. Tons of family connections, considered one of the better offensive linemen in the state, all reasons why BC made sense.

You can check out Alec's HUDL below:
