Boston College received their second commitment of the week as OLB Isaiah McDuffie flipped from Syracuse to the Eagles:

McDuffie is an impressive recruit, 3* according to Rivals, and according to 247 he is the 56th ranked LB in the country and 805th recruit in the country. He also holds offers from Syracuse, Maryland, Pittsburgh and Wake Forest along with lesser schools such as UConn. Coming from New York, McDuffie's primary recruiter most likely was new defensive line coach Paul Pasqualoni.
McDuffie, a Buffalo NY 2017 recruit, is the second linebacker taken in this class, the other being Paul Theobald, a NJ LB who committed on Tuesday. According to reports, he was down to Penn State and Syracuse when committed to Scott Shafer before the coach was let go.
