Boston College Football Recruiting: QB E.J. Perry IV Commits To The Eagles

BC got their 2017 QB, and he is a local kid.

Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

Boston College received a commitment on Saturday as local pro style quarterback E.J. Perry IV went to Twitter to announce his commitment

Perry currently does not have a rating on Rivals and is the 5th ranked recruit from Massachusetts, and holds offers from UMass, Ohio, Yale, Bryant and a bevy of other FCS schools. According to an article in the Eagle Tribune an offer from Wake Forest seemed imminent. He was offered on Saturday and almost immediately committed to the Eagles. The 6'2 Perry had a massive year at Andover this year throwing for 2,852 yards and 34 touchdowns, highlighted by a 636 yard performance against Central Catholic in the playoffs.

According to his father E.J Perry III, his son's choice was pretty easy "They'd been following him. He wanted the best academics and the best athletics. He felt it was the perfect fit."

You can check out his Junior Year Highlights below. Welcome to the Heights EJ!
