Boston College Football Recruiting: TE Devan Lawson De-Commits From Eagles

BC lost a recruit this week, what does this mean to the class.

Boston College recruiting took a bit of a hit this week as tight end Devan Lawson of Spring Valley, New York decommitted and re-opened his recruitment:

Lawson, who had committed back in March currently does not have a ranking according to Rivals and held offers from Army, Monmouth and Idaho. There is no word out right now on why Lawson left the Eagles, it could be a wide variety of things.

Lawson was one of two tight end recruits in this class, the other being Patrick Brown who committed after Lawson in April. Not sure if Boston College will be targeting another tight end in this class, or if they will continue to pursue Lawson as the recruiting period progresses.
