Updates on BC football recruiting.

Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

BC has been hot on the recruiting trail this week, with fresh info to feed recruits in regards to the new practice facility. Let's see some updates on who BC has offered, and some news on big names BC is targetting

You Get An Offer, And You Get An Offer.

Offers are flying out fast and furiously as Boston College tries to get a handle on the Class of 2017. Here are some of the offers that went out the past few weeks:

Collin Smith, 2017 ATH, Liogener, PA. 2*: Other offers include Louisville, MIchigan and lesser schools such as Connecticut.

Deon Jackson, 2017 ATH, Atlanta HA, 3*: Other offers include Fresno State, Colorado State and Rutgers.

Matt Sichterman, 2017 OT, Kingstown OH, 3*: Other offers include Illinois, Kentucky, Nebraska

Breydon Boyd, 2017 ILB, Katy TX, NR: Other offers include Iowa State, Fresno State, Colorado State

Josh McKenzie, 2019 ATH, Bergen Catholic, NJ: Other offers Rutgers, Temple

Johnny Langan,2018 ATH, Bergen Catholic, NJ: Other offers: Temple

Dillon Recruitment Just Got Harder

The biggest name that BC currently has on their board has to be local running back AJ Dillon. The 4*'s recruitment just got red hot over the week with recent offers from both Michigan and Florida State. BC certainly is going to have a mountain to climb if they want to keep this kid local, especially with Notre Dame (where his father played) leading the way. Will be really interesting to see if BC can stay in the mix as Dillon's recruitment progresses.

Marshall Could Be Another Tough Pull

Another big name that BC offered over the past two weeks is Andover/Proctor Academy TE Alexander Marshall. This local product's recruitment is also heating up with offers from Alabama and Florida Sate over the past few days along with talking to Georgia. BC needs tight ends badly, especially after whiffing on Scooter Harrington and Danny Dalton in 2016. At 6'7 with good hands, Marshall would be a great addition, check out his film below:
