Boston College Recruiting Notebook: Big Time 2018 CB Visits And More

Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

Recruiting season is still in full swing, but news is a little light as we get into the tail end of the 2015 season. Let's take a look at the recruits making news with Boston College

Paul Visits BC

Jarrett Paul, a 2018 cornerback from Middle Village, New York visited Boston College for the Virginia Tech game on Saturday. Paul, who claims interest from Clemson, N.C. State, USC and Syracuse had a lot of positive things to say about the Eagles. He told this reporter "First of all BC is in the ACC. I'm a defensive back, so the ACC appeals to me highly because of how much of an impact DBs and WRs have." When asked why he BC would be a good choice Paul said " I feel that I would fit well in the BC secondary when it's time for me to compete in college". Certainly will be a recruit to watch out for in the future.

Recruiting Update Videos On Scout.com

One of the best ways to catch up on a recruit and to analyze their strengths and deficits is to watch their film. Scout.com has been doing a great weekly series talking to recruits and going over their film. If you head over there now you can catch films on K.J. Gray, Anthony Brown and Kobay White. Certainly worth a look.

Grayson Reed Digging BC?

Rivals.com spoke with 2017 Top 250 OL Grayson Reed, a Texas offensive lineman who recently was offered from BC. Asked what he liked about BC he said "I know they put out a lot of offensive linemen. Their head coach used to be an O-Line coach, too, so that's pretty cool," he said." Reed already has a bevy of offers from major programs including Boise State, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech, but admitted in the article he wants to visit Boston College. BC could use all the help they can get on the offensive line, Reed would be a major get.
