There wasn't a lot of recruiting news over the past week, but the news that came out was certainly interesting.
Dillon High On Boston College
Four star 2017 running back recruit AJ Dillon visited Boston College on Saturday with his parents and came away very positive about what the Eagles have to offer. According to an article on Rivals, Dillon was very high on two of the coaches "I love Coach Wash," he said. "I love Coach Brown. They're really relatable guys. They're really down to earth. They're funny and know what they're doing. They know what they're talking about. I have a pretty good relationship with both of them."
Dillon has offers from Notre Dame (where his grandfather played), Penn State, Iowa, and Virginia. He would be a massive get for Boston College, and someone worth monitoring. Currently 247's Crystal Ball has him 60% to ND, 20% to BC and 20% to UVA.
Clark To Pitt
Chris Clark, a highly touted 5* tight end, committed to Pittsburgh over the weekend. Clark's odyssey started with a commitment to Michigan last year, but he switched to UCLA and signed his NLI. Oddly during the summer he left the school, and committed to Syracuse, who then revoked his offer, hence his signing with the Panthers. Given all this bouncing around, there was clearly something up, which might have kept BC from knocking on his door. Best of luck at Pitt.
Bo Knows BC
As far as I can see BC made one offer this week, to 2017 New Jersey athlete Bo Melton. The 6'0 180lb Jr. also holds an offer from Old Dominion. He currently is not rated.
