Boston College Football Recruiting: LB Max Richardson Commits To The Eagles

New, comments

A 2nd #soar of the week

Boston College hit another one out of the park today with their second commitment in the last 24 hours. According to Rivals, Georgia linebacker Max Richardson has committed to the Eagles.

Richardson, a 3* linebacker from Woodward Academy, Georgia. He holds an offer from Duke, and a bunch of mid level schools such as USF, Navy, Memphis and Marshall. He recently camped at Boston College. Georgia is Al Washington territory, where he has shown time and time again that he can recruit with the best of them.

Richardson is an interesting recruit for a multitude of reasons. One, he was very high on BC, who he camped with, for a while so this commitment is no surprise. In fact I commented earlier this week that I expected this would be one of the next to commit (humblebrag).

But another point to look at would be some of his teammates. 4* running back Elijah Holyfield, son of boxer Evander Holyfield, holds a BC offer, and would be one of those class defining commits if Al Washington could seal the deal. Also at Woodward is WR Jacob Robertson, a 3* WR who also holds a bevy of big time offers. Could Richardson's commitment improve BC's chances with either of these recruits? Only time will tell, but if there is one recruiter I think could do it, it would be Al Washington.

Welcome to the Heights Max!
