Boston College Football Recruiting: DT/TE Adam Korutz Commits To The Eagles

New, comments

It's June, which means it's time for Steve Addazio and his crew to land some dudes on the recruiting trail. The Eagles, who had stood at a class of eight, grabbed number nine last night, Adam Korutz.

The news also appears to be confirmed by 247sports, who have him listed as a hard commit to Boston College. Korutz is a big boy, 6'3, 270lbs and according to some recruiting sites he is listed as either a tight end or a defensive tackle. If his HUDL tape is to believed, he can run a 4.9, which is quick for a DT, not so much for a TE. Given that BC has two TE's already in this class, and looking at some big names, I'm going to go ahead and predict that Korutz was recruited as a DT.

Korutz is currently listed as a 2* recruit, out of New York, the third recruit from that state. He must be a fairly bright student as he has a handful of Ivy League offers to compliment his offers from FBS schools like Northwestern and Syracuse. You can check out his HUDL film below.

Welcome to the Heights Adam!
