The last few weeks have been slow for Boston College recruiting, with mostly only bad news hitting the site. But last night the tides may have turned, as Boston College received a verbal commitment from 3* wide receiver Kobay White

Now ignoring the common "Boston College University" gaffe, this could be a big commit for the Eagles. White, from Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg Pennsylvania had quite the offer list. According to his Rivals page, White claimed offers from Georgia Tech, Maryland, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Syracuse, Temple and Virginia. It's a positive sign to see yet another recruit commit to the Eagles with an offer list like that.
White will bring with him a list of accomplishments, including 71 receptions in his junior year for 1231 yards and 15 touchdowns. He was selected for 1st Team All State in Pennsylvania in both 2013 and 2014.
Addazio's success as recruiter for the past two years has shown in recruits committing in bunches. It will be interesting to see if White's verbal will spark a slew of other commitments. White joins Sean Ragan, Scooter Harrington, Bryce Morais and Brandon Barlow in the class of 2016. Ronnie Blackmon still appears to be a commitment, but has not appeared on the recruiting sites as of yet
