Another day, another dude.
Boston College football has secured a verbal commitment from Atlanta, Georgia cornerback Ronnie Blackmon, according to Rivals.com's Woody Wommack.
Per @RivalsWoody DB Ronnie Blackmon has committed to #BC http://t.co/pFQ8oSjxyO @RealEagleAction @rivalsmike

Blackmon, a 5'10" defensive back at Westlake High School in Atlanta, boasts an impressive offer sheet more than a dozen schools deep. Boston College beats out several schools for Blackmon's services, including fellow conference members Duke, Georgia Tech, Louisville and Syracuse. According to both 247 and Rivals he is considered a three star, and Rivals has him as the #46 cornerback in the country. This is a huge get for Al Washington, who continues to show that he's a rising star in the college football recruiting world.
Addazio really seems to have hit his stride with recruiting for the Eagles. Three of the four recruits have major offers, something that was lacking a bit last year. It has been a while since BC has received a commitment from a defensive back of this caliber. Not to knock any of the other corners BC has recruited, but Blackmon's offer sheet puts him at a level we haven't seen at the Heights in a while. But of course with all those offers comes the chance he is poached. Just something we will have to live with.
His Hudl film can be found below. Welcome to the Heights, Ronnie!
