Boston College had a problem last year, and that problem was kicking the football. Yesterday they went out and tried to address it by grabbing another kicker to the roster. Colton Lichtenberg of Savannah, Georgia has committed to the Eagles.
Can't wait to call this place my home next year!! 100% committed to Boston College! #ACC #Eagles #WeAreBC pic.twitter.com/zMuCNPrzGp

Lichtenberg is a 2015 commit, and given that he doesn't have a Rivals/247 page I'm going to go ahead and guess that he is going to be a preferred walk on. He will be a new option for new special teams coach Coleman Hutzler. Alex Howell will most likely be returning for his senior, along with sophomore Mike Knoll. As well all know, BC struggled kicking extra points last year.
Colton is the second preferred walk on in the past week, joining LB Grady Houston.
