Wide receiver Nat Dixon, a three-star rated recruit according to 247Sports, has committed to Boston College, announcing the news on National Signing Day 2014. Dixon, who played for A. Crawford Mosley out of Lynn Haven, Florida, chooses Boston College over South Florida and Western Kentucky, the other finalists for his services. Louisville also showed interest in the Florida product.
Dixon took an official visit to BC on January 17 and was offered two days later. Todd Fitch led the charge on Dixon's recruitment and fellow Floridian Justin Simmons hosted the receiver during his official visit.
The addition of Dixon gives the Eagles' 27 verbal commitments in the 2014 recruiting class. Five of the 27 enrolled early, leaving up to three spots for Addazio and the staff to enroll 2015 recruits in January.
Dixon is the fourth commit at wide receiver, joining Troy Flutie (Natick, Ma.), Gabriel McClary (Winter Park, Fl.) and Thaddius Smith (Springfield, Pa.).
