Boston College's top 2014 tight end target Trey Klock has seen his stock rise in recent weeks. Despite 247Sports predicting Klock to Boston College, several other programs are in pursuit of the 6-foot-4, 260 pound tight end from Hummelstown, Pennsylvania. In addition to BC, Klock claims offers from UMass, Rutgers, Temple, Syracuse and Western Michigan. He's also receiving interest from Duke and Michigan State, two programs high on Klock's wishlist.
The Rivals two star recruit is on an unofficial visit to Rutgers today on, of all day's, Mother's Day. Rutgers coach Kyle Flood and the Scarlet Knights are recruiting the Pennsylvania native pretty hard and the effort appears to be paying off. Despite being an early leader, Rutgers is now neck-and-neck with Boston College on landing the tight end.
To go that extra mile in landing Klock, and having moved away from touting the benefits of human growth hormone, Rutgers is now trying to woo the #1 person in any recruit's life: mom.
Even my mom is feeling the love from the Rutgers coaching staff! twitter.com/TreyKlock15/st…

Note the scoreboard reads Rutgers 28-0. Must have been the Scarlet Knights' 2011 game against North Carolina ... Central.
Happy Mother's Day, Eagles!
