Boston College Football Recruiting: Harold Landry Commits To The Eagles

Boston College gets it's third recruit of the 2014 season

The Eagles continue to make moves on the recruiting trail, as they received their third commitment of the 2014 class with weak side defensive end Harold Landry.

Earlier this week Krondis Larry, committed, kind of, not really committed to the Eagles, but for reasons unknown he does not have a committ-able offer yet. Landry, on the other hand has confirmed it. He is a 6-2 225 lbs from Fayetteville, North Carolina. He received offers from the East Carolina Pirates, Citadel, Appalachian State, and the Duke Blue Devils. He also was receiving interest from University of North Carolina and the N.C State Wolfpack. Landry would be the lone player from the state of North Carolina on the Boston College roster.

Harold Landry's highlight reel can be viewed here.

This will be a very interesting weekend as dozens of recruits will be on campus taking both official and unofficial visits. The beat writers have talked about many families on the side lines watching the spring practices. Such visitors as Thomas Holley, Caleb Henderson and Lubarn Figero are or have visited Boston College this week. News of new commitments could break at any point this weekend, so make sure to check out BC Interruption for more updates.

Welcome to the Heights Harold!
