On Monday, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced game times and network information for the November 23 slate of games. Boston College's last ever ACC matchup with the Maryland Terrapins draws a 3:30 p.m. start on the ACC's Regional Sports Networks (likely NESN in Boston).
Boston College-Maryland is one of the better games in a very strange week 13 in the ACC. Clemson (The Citadel), Florida State (Idaho) and Georgia Tech (Alabama A&M) all decided to play lesser competition the week before facing their in-state SEC rivals in the regular season finale. N.C. State hosts East Carolina and North Carolina Old Dominion.
In conference play, there are two cross-division matchups that will likely mean little other than for bowl eligibility (Duke-Wake Forest and Pitt-Syracuse). That leaves bowl 2-8 and bowl ineligible Virginia at Miami (Noon, ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPNews) and Boston College at Maryland (3:30 p.m., ACC RSN), which may square off in a winner-becomes-bowl eligible contest.
