The Boston College Eagles are going bowling.
Although it's not a guaranteed bowl berth, the Eagles are bowl eligible after defeating Virginia Tech on Saturday. Given the ACC bowl tie-ins, it's all but a sure thing that by going 6-6, they'll be going somewhere. The only question left is where and who their opponent will be.
To determine where, they'll need to worry about their finishing record. That means wins are still on the table for them to pick up and enhance their bowl resume. First up is Louisville.
The newcomers to the ACC are also 6-3 with four wins (and all their losses) coming in conference play. The Cardinals are looking to bounce back off a heart-wrenching 42-31 loss to Florida State, and they'll have 10 days to prepare for their first trip north to Boston.
We'll talk Louisville on the air, and we'll take your calls at 646-200-0446. Be sure to tune in and GO EAGLES!
