Earlier this week The Heights reported that ESPN would be filming First Take inside of Gasson Hall on Friday morning before the Friday night matchup between Florida State and Boston College. Pretty cool news, if you can stomach Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith. Also good news for a program that could use all the publicity it can get.
Today The Heights broke even more news, as they reported that an even bigger show will be coming to BC:
Breaking: Boston College will host Sportscenter, in addition to ESPN First Take, prior to Friday, Sept. 18th's game against Florida State.

Where will they be filming? Right outside of Gate E at Alumni Stadium. Now this is cool. True, it's not College Gameday, but this gives BC some legitimate exposure, and will create an experience that will hopefully really energize fans before a huge matchup. The last time ESPN came to BC was during an FSU game as well in 2009 when Mark Herzlich announced he was cancer free, and BC won that one. Maybe history will repeat itself next Friday?
