College Football Rankings, Week 13: AP Top 25, Coaches Top 25, Massey Composite

The Eagles will face the nation's top team for the fifth time in program history.

This week's college football polls are out, and for the third time this season, Boston College will face a top 25 opponent. And not just any top 25 opponent, the #1 ranked team in the country.

Fresh off a 30-26 victory over Miami, the Florida State Seminoles (10-0, 7-0 ACC) reclaim the top spot in this week's USA Today Coaches and AP polls. The Seminoles have won a school- and ACC-record 25 straight games, the longest win streak in the FBS since Miami won 34 straight from 2000-02.

This weekend's Boston College-Florida State game marks the program's fifth game all-time against the #1 ranked team in the nation. The Eagles have a trio of losses to then Miami (1991, 2001, 2002) and, of course, a 41-39 upset victory over top-ranked Notre Dame in 1993.

Earlier this season, Boston College knocked off then-#9 USC at home, 37-31. The Trojans check in at #24 in the Coaches' poll this week. From the ACC, Georgia Tech is ranked 16th in the Coaches' and 17th in the AP polls. Duke ranks 25th in both polls this week.
