On Monday, the ACC announced the game times and TV network information Thursday, September 26 and Saturday, September 28. Good news! Boston College's home game against Florida State draws a 3:30 PM kickoff and will be nationally televised on ABC/ESPN2 or ESPNU.
The game is in the same time slot as the Wake Forest-Clemson game, so the specific TV station will be announced by Sunday. TV execs first want to see if Clemson pulls a Clemson this Thursday night at N.C. State -- doubtful -- and whether Wake Forest can figure out how to gain more than 15 yards rushing utilizing an option attack -- again, doubtful. #TheRivalry. Florida State plays I-AA Bethune-Cookman this weekend and BC is off.
Whichever game ESPN/ACC decides to air, that game will be televised regionally on ABC and on ESPN to the rest of the nation. The other game will be on ESPNU.
Love the start time for this game. Even if Boston College had somehow won last weekend, I highly doubt this game would have garnered a Saturday night game. And no, ESPN College GameDay was not going to come to campus for BC-FSU. This was likely the best possible kickoff time for the Eagles. The 3:30 PM start will give fans the early part of the day to prepare tailgates and for new A.D. Brad Bates to showcase all the game day improvements in his first afternoon home kickoff.
Rest of the game times and networks for next weekend's slate of games below. All times Eastern.
