The 2014 Boston College football season is one third complete. As the campaign hits its stride, there are a few hotly debated topics surrounding the Eagles: Should BC pass more? Who are the Eagle playmakers? Will BC be the team defeating USC or struggling to score points in the first half against UMass and Maine? Who steps forward as the breakout star of the season? Have we seen all that BC has to offer or is there more in store? Only one team can answer these questions: BCI Radio.
With those questions comes a team nobody knows anything about: Colorado State. The Mountain West Conference Rams are a Group of Five doppelganger of BC. Jim McElwain arrived in Fort Collins after helping lead Alabama to the national championship. But he also comes with NFL experience, a former quarterbacks coach with the Oakland Raiders. McElwain built CSU to an 8-6 record last year with a win in the New Mexico Bowl, their first postseason berth since 2008.
Dan and AJ return to the airwaves to break down the Eagle performance against Maine while reassessing the team on the field. They'll look at all three phases of the game and try to make sense of what they've seen out of the coaching staff and personnel.
After a week absence, BCI Radio hosts Joshua Carvalho of Mountain West Connection to give insight into the Rams (2-1 entering this week).
And, of course, your calls, the best part of the show, will be featured. Be sure to tune in at 8 PM EST and call in at 646-200-0446 to talk with the guys!
