Boston College Football: Former USF OC Todd Fitch To Join Steve Addazio's Staff

This move has been rumored for a few days now, but coachingsearch.com's Pete Roussel is now reporting that former South Florida offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Todd Fitch will be hired by Steve Addazio as the Eagles wide receivers coach.

Boston College: Sources tell me former South Florida offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Todd Fitch will join the Boston College staff under Steve Addazio.

The former Bulls offensive coordinator was not retained by the program after coach Skip Holtz was replaced with Western Kentucky's Willie Taggart. Fitch has 26 years of experience as a college assistant coach and coordinator. Prior to serving as USF's offensive coordinator for the last three seasons, he served on the staffs at East Carolina (OC/QB), Iowa State (QB), South Carolina (WR, RB, QB), Connecticut (QB, OC), Colorado State (RB/ST), Bowling Green (GA, WR) and his alma mater, Ohio Wesleyan (Assistant Coach).

The Saline, Michigan native was a three-year letterwinner at defensive back for Ohio Wesleyan.

I like having a coach with significant college coaching experience on the staff as Addazio is putting together a mix of staffers who have varying degrees of experience.
