Eagles In The NFL - Week 5

Oh hey, Matt Hasselbeck

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Matt Hasselbeck - Indianapolis Colts

Making his second start in place of injured Andrew Luck, Hasselbeck was on point, going 18-29 for 213 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-20 win over Houston. Hasselbeck has now won two games this year for the Colts and may get the call this Sunday again if Luck cannot go. Indianapolis hosts New England in a rematch of their AFC Championship game last year.

Matt Ryan - Atlanta Falcons

Ryan didn't throw a touchdown in the Falcons' 25-19 overtime win over Washington but did come away with 24 completions and 254 yards. He did throw two picks in the game as the Falcons needed an overtime pick six to come away with the victory. Atlanta remained undefeated with the victory.

Mark Herzlich - New York Giants

Herzlich had a coming out party against the San Francisco 49ers, registering six tackles, including one for a loss, in the Giants' come-from-behind win in the Meadowlands.

Anthony Castonzo - Indianapolis Colts

Castonzo protected the blind side of Hasselbeck during their win over the Texans, assisting in a clean sheet for the QB. Hasselbeck was not sacked once during the game.

Will Blackmon - Washington

Blackmon contributed six tackles in a pass deflection in the overtime loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Washington takes on the New York Jets this coming weekend.

BJ Raji - Green Bay Packers

Raji clogged the middle of the defensive line with his usually same gusto, and St. Louis really struggled as a result. The Rams completed well less than half of their passes for 141 yards as the Pack defeated the Rams, 24-10, in Green Bay on Sunday.

Andre Williams - New York Giants

Williams had only three touches in the Giants' 30-27 win over San Francisco.

Luke Kuechly - Carolina Panthers

With a bye week in his back pocket, the tackle machine returned to the field in practice and will look to return to the lineup for the Panthers' game this Sunday against Seattle.

Gosder Cherilus - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It was a wild one in Tampa as the Bucs defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars, 38-31, last week. It was a perfect balance for Tampa Bay, who gained 180 yards on the ground along with 180 yards in the air.

Ryan Quigley - New York Jets

Quigley and the Jets enjoyed a bye week with an over-.500 record, returning to action this Sunday against Washington.

Kasim Edebali - New Orleans Saints

Edebali had a single tackle in New Orleans' 39-17 loss against the Philadelphia Eagles last Sunday.

Kevin Pierre-Louis - Seattle Seahawks

KPL did not see the field but dressed for the Seahawks in their overtime loss against the Cincinnati Bengals. The defending NFC Champions take on Carolina this Sunday.

Ian Silberman - San Francisco 49ers

Silberman did not play in the game for the 49ers against the New York Giants. San Francisco will play at home on Sunday against Baltimore.

Andy Gallik - Tennessee Titans

Gallik is the backup center for Tennessee, who lost in a defensive struggle to Buffalo, 14-13. Tennessee takes on Miami this weekend.
