Head coach Steve Addazio's overall impressions
"Our goal coming into this game, as a team, was that we were going to come out with energy and passion. We were going to play physical and tough and respond from last week's game. I thought that was a very big, important step in our program. I would tell you that I felt like we played hard, physical and we took another step today."
"I said earlier in the week, I don't care if we win by one, or whatever, just find a way to win."
"It was a great team win for us. I have all the respect in the world for Army, what those kids do, who they are and what they are all about. I wish them nothing but success."
"I feel great about the fact that we're bringing BC football back to where BC football was, which was a big powerful offensive line that could run the ball. They were big and physical. We're a work in progress right now. That's what we are. But for what it was today, we took a step forward towards bringing our program back to where we all want it to be, which is a big, physical, tough program. That is where we want to be. We're not delusional. We're 3-2. We're fighting and scratching for every possible win we can get but I think the footprint and the foundation is starting to be laid, which is great."
Addazio on Andre Williams rushing for 263 yards and 5 touchdowns
"I told him earlier in the week, we just have to rush for over 200 yards. That's what we want to do. We have a legitimate offensive line now guys. They're good. They blocked well. Andre ran really, really hard. I was happy for Andre. You've got to be able to run the ball when you play this team. You've got to be able to run it."
"[Individual accolades] are all nice but with team success, individual honors will come."
Addazio on the play of Quarterback Chase Rettig (11 of 13, 203 yards, 1 TD)
"Chase managed the game really well. He threw the ball well, when he had to throw the ball. He did a nice job."
Addazio on whether there was any distraction from the government shutdown
"Zero distraction. I never even addressed it with the football team. It never came out of my lips one time."
Addazio on playing at Clemson next week
"I am excited about our team right now. We have a great challenge ahead of us this week, playing at Clemson. We've got to go on the road. Last time we went on the road, we didn't handle it so good. This is another opportunity for a learning experience here and for us to rise up and play a great team on the road. We're looking forward to that challenge."
