RISE AND #SOAR Boston College fans! The Eagles are in Dublin and set to kick off their season today against Georgia Tech. Both the Eagles and the Yellow Jackets are looking to bounce back from disappointing seasons, and start their year with a huge opportunity to pick up a W in a winnable ACC game. Let's get to the details.

What: Aer Lingus College Football Classic 2016

Who: Boston College Eagles (0-0, 0-0 ACC) vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (0-0, 0-0 ACC)

Where: Aviva Stadium, Dublin, Ireland (capacity: 51,700)

Tickets: Despite a pretty hearty contingent heading out from both BC and Georgia Tech, there appear to be a decent amount of tickets still available on Ticketmaster, in case you happen to be in Ireland or have the means to drop everything and get on a plane in the next... er, OK, this will be publishing just a few hours before the game, so yeah, probably not.

When: Saturday, September 3, 2016

Kickoff Time: 7:30 AM Eastern Time (12:30 PM in Dublin)

How to watch on TV: The game will be broadcast live on ESPN2.

How to watch online: Stream the game via ESPN3.com / the WatchESPN App.

How to listen: You can listen to the game on regular ol' radio in Boston on 93.7 FM WEEI. Online, you can listen via BCEagles.com.

How to follow along on Twitter: You can follow the Eagles at @BCFootball, or Georgia Tech at @GeorgiaTechFB. If those options don't feature enough cussing or shouting for you, you can follow us at @BCInterruption and follow AJ Black at @BCHysteria. Also check out @EAHoffses for Eric Hoffses' feed. Depending on wi-fi situation at Aviva Stadium, BCI's @joegrav and @salzano14 will be tweeting live from the stadium in Dublin.

Pre-game pub: If you're in Dublin, the big pregame gathering place is Trinity College, which is hosting a tailgate for BC and Georgia Tech fans. There are also two "official" BC bars in Dublin - Mercantile, and Sinnott's.

Game watch: If you're back in Boston looking to head out to a bar to watch on TV, head to Champions Boston at the Marriot Copley Place, which opens at 6:30 AM and will be airing the BC game.

Catch up on BCI's pregame coverage: Read an entire week's worth of game preview content by checking out our BC vs. Georgia Tech StoryStream.

Gameday storyline: Nobody really knows what to expect as BC and Georgia Tech hit the field for the first time this season. Can the Eagles improve on their abysmal offense last season? Will they still have an outstanding defense? And can BC stop Georgia Tech's tricky option offense? Last but not least, how will the teams adapt to traveling thousands of miles from home for their season opener?

BC and GT haven't met since 2012, adding to the intrigue. In 2012, the Jackets topped BC 37-17 in Atlanta.

We'll begin to learn a lot more bright and early as the season kicks off!
