It got a little tumultuous in the second half, but Boston College rode a red hot first half and a stellar defensive performance to a 36-30 victory in the 2016 Quick Lane Bowl, notching their first bowl win since 2007. The Eagles had some real highlight plays in this one, including a trick play throw to Patrick Towles, some huge defensive stops, and more. The Eagles' defense had 14 tackles for loss, 8 sacks and forced 4 turnovers led by Harold Landry, who had 1.5 sacks and an interception.
