Sherm Alston, the sophomore WR/RB has found a new home, this time in New York in the FCS. The diminutive but elusive back will be staying close to home.
Alston finishes his BC career with 388 yards and two touchdowns, along with 250 yards receiving. His freshman year was highlighted by a memorable run against USC to seal a tremendous win for the Eagles. His sophomore year he was relegated to punt returns, where he struggled. Finally, in the finale against Syracuse he was benched and did not play. He announced his intentions to transfer shortly after.
Alston is the second Eagle to announce his transfer to an FCS school this winter. Earlier running back Marcus Outlow went to Twitter to announce that he will be attending Coastal Carolina in 2016. Jordan Gowins right now is the only player to announce his departure who hasn't named his future school.
Best of luck to Sherm in the future. There will always be the USC game.
