Rob Kinnan-USA TODAY Sports

2015 Projections: Tight end will definitely be a position to watch, but at this point you have to imagine that Mike Giacone and Louie Addazio the odds are against Croteau. Throw in red shirt freshman Tommy Sweeney and you have a bit of a logjam at tight end. Maybe Croteau will see time on special teams, or he might see playing time in practice.

Uniform History: Last year linebacker Steele Divitto wore the number. The first known wearer of #49 was Thomas Mahon, a left tackle in 1937. George Colbert, a member of the Varsity Club Hall of Fame wore it as a quarterback in the 40's. Mark Palmer, the starting full back and had good hands in the mid 2000's wore it.
