After a disappointing season, Sherman Alston will be the second Boston College Eagle to flee the nest
BC RB/WR Sherman Alston announces that he is transferring. Alston is the 2nd player to leave program this offseason after RB Marcus Outlow.

He is the second offensive player to announce that he is leaving the team, joining sophomore Marcus Outlow. Alston, a sophomore, will be best remembered for his back breaking run against USC:
This season was a different story for Alston, who struggled on punt returns, and wasn't utilized much on offense. He had a few key drops earlier in the season, and his trademarked end around was completely ineffective as opposing defenses sat on it every time he hit the field. The low point of the season came against Notre Dame when he dropped a punt on the three yard, and was luckily bailed out by the BC defense. In the final game of the season Alston was held out of the game. He finished the 2015 season with 13 rushes for 36 yards, and 7 receptions for 77 yards.
Best of luck to Sherm in his future endeavors.
