Boston College Football Bowl Projections, Week 4

Detroit? St. Petersburg? Miami? Bronx? Montgomery, Alabama?

Mike Ehrmann

With four weeks of the season in the books, Boston College (3-1) is halfway home to bowl eligibility. Let's take a look at where the Eagles project this week:

ESPN (McMurphy): Quick Lane Bowl vs. Minnesota (12/26)

ESPN (Schlabach): BITCOIN St. Petersburg Bowl vs. UCF (12/26)

SB Nation: Miami Beach Bowl vs. Cincinnati (12/22)

CBSSports: BITCOIN St. Petersburg Bowl vs. UCF (12/26)

Phil Steele: Quick Lane Bowl vs. Minnesota (12/26)

Scout: New Era Pinstripe Bowl vs. Rutgers (12/27)

Syracuse Post-Standard / Patrick Stevens: BITCOIN St. Petersburg Bowl (12/26)

College Sports Madness: Miami Beach Bowl vs. BYU (12/22)

The Sporting News: Raycom Media Camellia Bowl vs. Louisiana-Monroe (12/20)

So, yeah. Predictions are all over the place this week.

The more interesting ones are the at-larges, where several outlets have BC playing in a non-ACC-affiliated bowl game. The Sporting News has BC replacing a MAC team in the Camellia Bowl, a new bowl game pitting the MAC vs. the Sun Belt in Montgomery, Alabama.

SB Nation and College Sports Madness send the Eagles to Miami Beach to face Cincinnati and BYU, respectively. December in "Miami Beach" sounds sort of cool--until you realize the game is being played inside Marlins Park. My only question would be whether the Marlins home-run sculpture will go off every time a team scores a touchdown.
