2013 Stats (HS): Earned All-Metro Catholic Conference honors as a senior linebacker and fullback for the Red Devils ... served as team captain ... recorded 90 tackles, including six sacks, in 2013; also rushed 29 times for 149 yards (5.1 yards per carry) that season ... played for head coaches Doug Taylor (2012) and Antionne Torrey (2013) ... also lettered in track and lacrosse. 2014 Projections: Forte is a walk-on and there is a large pool for Don Brown to choose from. I would expect him to be a valuable member of the scout team.
How'd He Get Here: Forte was a walk (most likely a preferred) that came to the Eagles back in April.
Twitter Feed: You can follow Hunter at @Hforte33
Tweetable: Private
Uniform History: Jack Conlon a fullback was the first Eagle to don "56" in the last 30's. Kevin Pearson, a very good linebacker wore the #56 during his times at the Heights in the early 90s. Current Boston College running backs coach and recruiting extraordinaire Al Washington wore it as a defensive tackle with the Eagles. Max Holloway a defensive end wore #56 before leaving the Eagles early for the NFL draft, a move that didn't seem to work out for him.
