Though college football's preseason watch list season has largely come and gone, The Reese's Senior Bowl threw its hat into the ring with one more watch list right before the start of the season. The Senior Bowl released a rather large watch list of players -- 350 in total -- that will be scouted for the 2015 Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. Three Boston College Eagles made the initial list:
C Andy Gallik
DE Brian Mihalik
OT Ian Silberman
Congrats to all three players.
Naturally, the SEC led the watch list with a total of 75 players. The ACC finished in second with 56 players, followed by the Pac-12 (40), Big 12 (36) and Big Ten (35). Clemson played the most players on the watch list with 12. A-C-C! A-C-C!
A total of 110 players will receive invites to the 2015 Senior Bowl, giving graduating seniors an opportunity to impress NFL scouts ahead of the annual NFL Scouting Combine. The Eagles have sent a number of players to the Senior Bowl in the past, with Ron Brace (2009), B.J. Raji (2009), Matt Tennant (2010), Anthony Castanzo (2011), Mark Herzlich (2011) and Donnie Fletcher (2012) all representing the program in recent seasons.
You can sort the full watch list by position, conference and school, which is helpful because again, it's 350 players strong.
