2013 Stats (HS): Earned first-team all-state honors in 2013 ... earned Daily News All-Catholic League accolades ... scored 14 touchdowns as senior to go along with 622 receiving yards on 32 receptions ... notched 426 yards on 33 receptions with eight touchdowns as a junior. (via bceagles.com)

2014 Projections: It appears that out of the gate that Gabe McClary appears to winning the battle for the go to slot receiver on the team. However depth is always good and Smith is the perfect fit for a slot receiver or returner. If he doesn't get on the field though, I would expect him to be redshirted.

How'd He Get Here: A three star wide receiver from Pennsylvania, Thadd chose Boston College over James Madison, Rutgers, Temple and Toledo. His primary recruiter was Ryan Day.
