What to watch when you're not watching Boston College take on the #3 Florida State Seminoles in Tallahassee.
Yeah so outside of the Pac-12 South, this is not a good college football weekend. Things are already settled in the ACC, where Florida State will take on Georgia Tech in the ACC Championship Game in Charlotte. So the rest of the league's action this weekend—Virginia Tech at Wake Forest, Clemson-Georgia State, Louisville-Notre Dame, Syracuse-Pittsburgh and Miami-Virginia—are for nothing more than bowl positioning at this point.
Things aren't much better in the SEC, where several teams will look to "control games" against the likes of Eastern Kentucky, Charleston Southern, South Alabama, Western Carolina and...Vanderbilt.
The only games of mild intrigue take place in the Pac-12 South, where five (!) of the seven teams are still alive for a division title. The results of Washington State-Arizona State (1:00 p.m., Fox Sports), Arizona at Utah (3:30 p.m., ESPN) and USC at UCLA (8:00 p.m., ABC) will go a long way towards determining who represents the South in the Pac-12 Championship Game in Santa Clara.
Wasn't the College Football Playoff supposed to enhance the watchability of the games towards the end of the regular season?
Which games will you be watching over the weekend?
