So, Quick Lane Bowl?

Detroit is the general consensus this week, but there are a few Pinstripe and Military Bowl predictions sprinkled in as well. In terms of opponent, a matchup against the Big Ten in either the Quick Lane Bowl or Pinstripe Bowl would be preferable to the Military Bowl (American Athletic), though the Military Bowl is on that Saturday after Christmas. That's probably slightly preferred to playing the day after Christmas, as BC would be doing in the Quick Lane Bowl.

In terms of possible opponents, Maryland (4-2) has looked the most impressive of the bunch, though that's not saying much, really. The Terps have victories over James Madison, South Florida, Syracuse and Indiana on the year and need two more to reach bowl eligibility (Rutgers? Iowa?). Cincinnati (2-3) has looked the least impressive of the bunch--having dropped three straight including a 41-14 home loss to Memphis. Still, there are enough winnable games on the schedule--SMU, USF, Tulane, UConn--that the Bearcats should reach bowl eligibility.
