Congratulations to Boston College senior linebacker Steele Divitto. The 6-foot-2, 237 pound linebacker out of Ridgefield, Connecticut was named this week's ACC Co-Linebacker of the Week. This is Divitto's first such honor this year and third picked up by a Boston College linebacker (KPL earned Linebacker of the Week honors after weeks six and ten).

The senior finished with a game-high 18 tackles, including six solo and 1.5 tackles for loss in Boston College's 48-34 win over New Mexico State. The 18 tackles was a season high and matched his career best. Divitto ranks third among ACC leaders in average tackles per game with 8.9.

Divitto joins Duke linebacker Kelby Brown as this week's Co-Linebacker of the Week. Virginia Tech QB Logan Thomas (offensive back of the week), Virginia Tech OL David Wang (offensive lineman of the week), Virginia Tech WR Joshua Stanford (co-receiver of the week), Miami WR Allen Hurns (co-receiver of the week), Duke DE Kenny Anunike (defensive lineman of the week), Pitt S Ray Vinopal (defensive back of the week), Florida State KR Kermit Whitfield (specialist of the week) and Duke S DeVon Edwards (rookie of the week) as this week's honorees.

Despite rushing for a school record 295 yards and 2 TDs last week, Boston College senior RB Andre Williams once again was left off this week's list of honorees. Guess he had to rush for 300 yards to take this week's award from Logan Thomas (25-of-31, 366 yards, 2 TD, 0 Logan Thomas(TM) arm punts).
