For the second straight time, Boston College Field Hockey took #1 Duke to the brink, but they fell 3-2 in overtime in the opening round of the ACC Field Hockey Tournament:
Dwyer makes the initial save and Alesandra Miller makes a defensive save ...the third shot goes in.

It's under review
The goal was upheld under review, ending BC’s ACC tournament run.
BC came back from an early 0-2 deficit, but was unable to finish the job.
The Eagles are in an unusual situation with NCAA selection pending. BC is 11-8, but finished the season 0-7 in ACC play. Despite lacking an ACC victory, the Eagles entered today ranked #7 nationally in RPI. So in theory, they have a good chance of going to the NCAA tournament. Just another year in the insane world of ACC Olympic sports.
