Davies Impactful in First Home Start (New England Soccer Today)
"I want to give Charlie a ton of credit," said Revolution head coach Jay Heaps. "Charlie, first and foremost, has been pushing and has had a couple injuries to fight through. I thought tonight he really led the line well, held the ball, battled, showed a ton of heart, and the guys like Charlie. You can see it, the guys like playing with Charlie and he brings a great energy… He set up Lee [Nguyen on the first goal] and that was a great little combination."
Count me among the people rooting for Davies to eventually rediscover his stroke. There was once a time where he was ranked among the best footballers in America before he got completely derailed. I always imagine how good the USA would've been if you inserted the former Eagle in his physical and mental prime into the lineup with Dempsey and co.

Running back Andre Williams, whose career goals extend beyond football, has assumed a prominent role in the opening week of training camp.

July 2014 Boston College Football Recruiting Notebook - Soaring to Glory

UMass football top 25 players to watch in 2014: LB Kassan Messiah | masslive.com
Messiah worked as a starting outside linebacker in Tom Masella's new 3-4 scheme this spring. So far, he loves the fit, as it should help showcase his ability to both play in space and cause havoc in the backfield.
Because when I think of the UMass defense, I think of chaos and havoc.
Boston College Offers Hendricken's Justin Mazzulla (Cox Hub)
Bishop Hendricken guard Justin Mazzulla accomplished that unlikely feat last week when Boston College offered him a scholarship on Friday night. B.C. head coach Jim Christian was in Louisville, Kentucky as he and his staff continued to follow Terance Mann, Bruce Brown, and the rest of the BABC team who were making their final stop of the summer at the AAU Gold Super Showcase.
Easy to forget, but Coach Christian is out on the recruiting trail continuing to make moves.
