Boston College women’s hockey needs a third period comeback to extend their season. The Eagles have been outplayed by Ohio State through 40 minutes, and trail thanks to an OSU power play goal.
Katie Burt had made saves on 29 straight shots, but the 30th hit the back of the net to give the Buckeyes the lead.
Have some work to do in the final period as OSU holds the 1-0 lead on Boyle's PPG midway through the 2nd. Shots favor the Buckeyes, 32-15. pic.twitter.com/QegKvU5p4C

BC has been outshot 32-15 so far. That’s the bad news. The good news is they’re only down by 1 - and they still have one more period on home ice to find at least one stroke of magic to draw this thing level.
We’ll be here with postgame coverage and Twitter coverage at @bcinterruption.
