Boston College Women’s Hockey Announces 2017-2018 Schedule

The Eagles will make another attempt at that elusive national title

Brandon Wu, BC Athletics

The Boston College Women’s Hockey schedule is typically released ridiculously late, thanks to so many different programs jockeying for scheduling time at Conte Forum. This year was no exception, as Tuesday’s schedule game out just ten days before the team’s exhibition on Friday, September 22nd.

But this year’s schedule release actually came out before the men’s team’s, and also featured a bit of breaking news with the announcement that all home games will be broadcast on ESPN3. That’ll give hockey fans nationwide the opportunity to check in on one of the NCAA’s premier women’s hockey programs.

The Eagles open up with an exhibition against Canadian program Laurentian on Friday, September 22nd at 1pm. After that, they’re thrown right into the fire with a Thursday-Friday home series against the Minnesota-Duluth of the WCHA, which will mark a big opportunity to set the tone for the season.

BC’s out of conference schedule consists of:

2 vs. Minnesota-Duluth
1 vs. Quinnipiac
1 at Syracuse
2 at St. Lawrence
1 vs. Harvard
1 at Harvard
Beanpot vs. NU and BU/HU (at Conte Forum)

The Eagles’ Hockey East schedule kicks off on Friday, October 20th on the road at UConn, with the Eagles looking to claim their third straight Hockey East title.

The full schedule can be found here. Good luck to the Eagles as they make a run at the national championship!
