Name: Ron Greco

Number: 28

Position: Forward

Class Year: Senior

Drafted: Undrafted

Background: Ron Greco was a summer addition to the lineup preceding his freshman season after spending three years on the Philadelphia Flyers Elite USPHL Premier Team (his last year as team captain). To the casual observer, Greco has been very much a depth player, spending most of his collegiate career listed on the fourth line. However, Greco has carved out a niche as a player that Jerry York has relied upon to pick up a lot of tough, gritty minutes, and has even seen some ice time on lines with some of BC’s top players. He has certainly not been blowing the doors off the building, but he certainly has been a respectable college hockey player.

2019-20 Outlook: Expect much of the same from Ron Greco this year. He will likely be a depth option that will be called upon to play some tough minutes. He will certainly not be a top player on the team, but you should certainly see him make a tangible impact in some regard.

Fun Fact: During his sophomore year of high school, Greco won the Flyers Cup with his alma mater, La Salle College High School. One of his teammates on that Flyers Cup team, Nick Master, went on to play at UMass Lowell, and against Greco during Greco’s early career.
