With the 166th pick in the NHL Draft, the Minesota Wilds selected Marshall Warren, a defenseman who will be starting his career at BC in the fall. Warren was the 11th pick of the 6th round.
Warren is a solid skater and a player with some offensive upside, as he scored 34 points in 56 games last season from the blue line. Warren played with the US National U18 Team and will likely be a big part of a defensive core that is a bit depleted with the departures of Michael Kim and Casey Fitzgerald. He’ll most likely be spending at least the next few years at BC as he works to round out his game before moving to the professional level.
Congratulations to Marshall on being drafted and best of luck in your time at BC and in your career overall!
