Help Boston College Baseball Player Jake Goodreau in the Fight Against Cancer

A few months ago, we learned that junior Boston College catcher Jake Goodreau was diagnosed with an aggressive form of thyroid cancer. The BC community reacted with generosity and kindness in support of one of its own.

But, we can always do more, and with the men’s Hockey East tournament (or any other tournament you wish for those of you visiting outside the league) coming up, we thought it would be a good time to do one of our favorite traditions: raising money for a good cause.

For those of you who haven’t participated in the past, whoever wants to participate pledges a certain amount of money per an event that occurs, i.e. $10 per BC goal. At the end of the tournament, we tabulate the total and you donate that amount, i.e. $60 for six BC goals.

This is one of our favorite traditions because it shows how generous the BC community can be, and what better way to show it than supporting one of our own. Donate what you can.

Here is our form: if you have any questions, email us at bcinterruption@gmail.com. If you want to read more about the cause, here is the GoFundMe for Goodreau. Additionally, here is a link to the form if you have trouble seeing it here on the site.
