The 2018 Hockey East playoffs will once again be streamed on Pack Network, an online streaming service, the league announced via a press release Monday afternoon.
The deal supersedes any current deal the member schools have made regarding streaming rights, as Hockey East owns the rights to stream tournament games.
The service is a paid service. Those wishing to watch the games online can either pay $59.95 for the entire tournament, or $9.95 per game.
For Boston College fans, that could potentially mean spending up to $29.85 to watch Boston College take on the lowest seed remaining in the quarterfinals.
This is will be a change for BC fans from the regular season. BC had a deal in place with WatchESPN to broadcast all men’s hockey games during the regular season, but because Hockey East owns the broadcast rights, BC fans will be forced to pay additionally.
The semifinals and championship of the Hockey East Tournament will be on NESN and streamed on WatchESPN.
