This weekend, before the Thanksgiving break, the Boston College Eagles welcome the UNH Wildcats. Let’s break down the matchup.
- Picking Up Where We Left Off: BC, after starting the season on a startling note, are coming back with vengeance. The Eagles have looked solid against Merrimack and Vermont, and can continue the effort against UNH, a team that BC has enjoyed some recent success against.
- UNH is Not Great: UNH gets about an average amount of shot attempts (50.8% CF%) but those shots don’t frequently go in (7.7% shooting percentage, near the bottom of the country). The Eagles defense, as much as it has struggled, should be able to take care of business against a struggling Wildcat offense.
- Fantastic Freshman: Jackson Pierson has been one bright spot for the ‘Cats, with six points on the year and a 25% shooting percentage. He’s somebody that the Eagles will need to keep an eye on.
Random, Possibly Incorrect Fact from UNH’s Wikipedia Page
47% of UNH students are from the state. Seems low imo.
Non-Alcoholic Beverage of the Game
I’m under the weather, so we’re staying away from the alcohols this week.

Simply Peach
I tried Simply Peach for the first time the other day. It was pretty good! You should drink some.
What would win in a fight, a Wildcat or Eagle?
I’m giving the edge to the animal with wings and talons.
Predictions:
I’m expecting this to be a fairly painless win for the Birds. Now let’s see a nailbiter.
WE HAVE PREDICTIONS
