The Catamounts take on the Eagles this weekend in a best-of-three series to determine which team advances to the Hockey East semifinal at TD Garden in Downtown Boston. The two teams have met the past two years in the Hockey East quarterfinal, with the Catamounts winning in 2014-15 in three games, and the Eagles winning the 2015-16 matchup in three games as well.
The two teams are deadlocked in this year’s head-to-head matchup, with the two teams tying both games played.
