The capacity crowd at Conte Forum was treated to a wild, back and forth first half as Boston College goes in to the locker room down by 1 against North Carolina.
The Eagles were powered, as usual, by Ky Bowman, who scored 21 points in the first half (while rocking the red hair again, naturally). Bowman shot 8-for-12 in the first half, while the rest of the team struggled, shooting 5-for-22.
On the other endUNC shot 38.7%; their biggest edge so far has been at the line, as they're 8-for-11 compared to BC's 1-for-2. We'll see if BC can even out the free throw edge and also get someone other than Bowman going in the second half. If they do, BC could have a chance to give the Tar Heels a scare.
