Boston College men’s basketball was defeated by the Virginia Cavaliers Wednesday night, losing 71-54. Virginia, led by Devon Hall’s 13 points, was able to take a 20 point first half lead. BC, now 2-4 in the ACC, shot just 36% from the field in the first half, allowing the Cavaliers to score 15 straight points at one point. Jordan Chatman, the lone bright spot for BC, scored a career-high 16 points. BC’s next game will be against UNC at home on Saturday, January 21st.
